The U17 Allsvenskan encounter of the Stockholm based Djurgårdens IF and the Göteborg based GAIS brought six goals (4-2). It was delighting to see special performances from both sides.

Djurgårdens IF, led by coach Martin Andersson who is a former player and team captain for the club, demonstrated his experience and tactical knowledge, effectively guiding his team to victory. The “Blåränderna” (nickname of the home team) controlled the game well despite of some initial challenges in creating opportunities. Once they found their rhythm, they took good control of the match, showcasing their strength and strategy.

GAIS on the away side, under the guidance of young coach Alexander Andersson, displayed moments of brilliance indicating a bright future for both him and his players. Despite the loss, the 29-year-old expert showed promising moves with his tactical decisions and the way he motivated his team. The good level of team cohesion and its character was also shown.

The best potential players?

Kevin Tadayon (Djurgårdens IF), attacking midfielder born 2007.

Exhibited a high level of consistency and intelligence on the field, which made him a standout player; his name became on the goalscorers’ sheet too.

Muhammed Ali Almiri (Djurgårdens IF), central midfielder born 2007.

Team captain. He’s a central midfielder with promising leadership abilities and skills, which were vital for the team in the midfield section.

Christopher Sliwo (Djurgårdens IF), striker born 2007.

A key forward for Djurgården, who had an important task in the shape of creating opportunities. A crucial player and ‘engine’ for the offensive tactics.
