Iceland on the opposition side, coached by Þór­hall­ur Sig­geirs­son, started the game in 4-4-2 shape; they had lower tempo but more control, also with significant confidence in play.

Daniel, youth player of FC Nordsjælland in Denmark, faced some of his club teammates in this clash. Regarding his abilities and technical readiness, he can be described as a highly gifted one, also with a potential move in the forthcoming summer.
