Seven goals in a thrilling U17 Ligacupen encounter between IF Elfsborg and Örgryte IS, which ended with a 6-1 win for “Di Gule”.

Tony Lundqvist, experienced coach of IF Elfsborg, decided to play in a flexible version of the 4-4-2 system, operating with lot of runs, mixed with the creativity and the swift position changes during the build-up phase, as well as in the final third.
Örgryte IS, under the guidance of its young expert Jacob Palmqvist, played in 4-3-3 shape, with using the central midfielder for regista role. They had good passing combinations and creative solutions in the midfield area and also in the offensive zone.

The best potential players in this game:
Nils Roström (IF Elfsborg), centre-forward/attacking midfielder born 2008.
Nils, a high potential player, showcased his great role-specific abilities hand in hand with his strong mental attributes.
Leo Sejdia Mehmeti (IF Elfsborg), centre-forward born 2008.
Leo is a promising centre-forward, who formerly played in Malmö FF youth system. Has very good vision, in addition to his great positional play. Was fairly effective when took part in offensive/progressive combinations.
Lucas Löngårdh (IF Elfsborg), left-back born 2008.
Lucas, a hard working wing-back of the team, impressed me by his progressive runs, passing combinations/solutions and technical abilities to hit early crosses.
To FOLLOW also IF Elfsborg player Noah Persson Amin-Zada; and Örgryte IS players Linus Isaksson and August Gjerström (all born 2008).
