Great match between FCK and BIF on a snowy pitch in Frederiksberg. FCK won on penalties (2-2 the result at the end of the regular time) after a match which saw Brøndby in front for most of the time (0-2 until the 86th minute).
FCK coached by Morten Bisgaard in a 4-2-3-1 formation was very good in the start of the match in using the space on the outside to progress through the thirds by pushing the FBs in high position and switching the play through their offensive midfielder Oliver Højer (see image below).

Brøndby, coached by Jesper Christiansen in a 4-4-2 formation (4-4-2 diamond out of possession) positioned their wingers inside to create a square in midfield and used their two strikers to stretch the opposition defensive line (see image below). Their most dangerous attacks came from crosses, including the sequence which led to the penalty (1st goal scored) and their 2nd goal scored (great cross from Larsen to Ambaek).

3-3 the result of the best potential players!
Oliver Højer (FCK), offensive midfielder born in 2007.
Oliver is a modern midfielder with great positional awareness and technique. He demonstrated top attacking skills when receiving between the lines. He received the ball in tight areas and found the best options with precise passes both on the ground and over longer distances. His speed of action was outstanding! On the top of that his ability to drop his shoulders when dribbling to get his opponents off balance make him unpredictable and hard to stop.
Oliver is a great profile for FCK, his drive and confidence will help him soon compete for a spot in the first team.
Viktor Dadason (FCK), Icelandic striker born in 2008.
Viktor is a target player with great physical structure and good hold up play. He scored his team first goal by heading a cross from deep with power and precision. The way he distanced himself from his direct opponent and he attacked the defender blind side to score shows advanced attacking skills in the box.
Viktor potential is hard to define. He is a great prospect and he can soon become an option for FCK first team. I would not be surprised if he became a starter within the next two years.
Hunor Németh (FCK), central midfielder born in 2007.
Hunor is a left footed central midfielder with excellent passing skills. His ability to find his team mates over different distances using various surfaces is of top level! Good also in ball striking and dribbling.
Hunor can become more dominant by playing at least one more season in U19 (you can find my comments and conclusions on him in this previous article).
Oliver Lauritsen (BIF), centre-back born in 2006.
Oliver is a tall centre-back with good defensive positioning and playmaking skills. He was often in the right place to intercept forward passes and crosses and to follow his opponents runs. Strong in the air, he was a threat on offensive set pieces. On the ball he switched with the play with precise long passes and exploited the opposition defensive block with good progressive passes.
Oliver with his physical attributes and game understanding can be a safe bet for a 1st or 2nd division Club. He would greatly benefit from a transition in senior football already in this winter transfer window.
Jacob Ambaek (BIF), striker born in 2008.
Jacob overall performance was not outstanding but his positioning in the box in the crucial moments of the match keeps him among the best potential players in this match and in the all league. His first touch finish in the 2nd goal was pure class!
Jacob is on a different level in many aspects (in this previous article you can find out more about his skills and about my conclusions).
Adam Claridge (BIF), central midfielder born in 2006.
Adam was as always his team ‘engine’ by ruling the middle of the pitch with his constant energy and determination. Beside that in this match he showed some great moments on the ball as the penalty scored and some good penetrative passes demonstrating an improved vision.
He is definitely ready to transition into senior football (you can find my conclusions in this previous article).
To FOLLOW also FCK centre-backs Graham Ankamafio (2007) and Waylon Renecke (2006), wingers Liam West and Neo Jönsson (both born in 2007) and defensive midfielder Tristan Panduro (2008); and BIF centre-back Philip Søndergaard (2007), left-back Lukas Larsen (2007) and right winger André Escobar (2007).
