A match between two teams which expressed very different but also very clear playing styles was won by Kolding IF which was more cynical in the end.
Helsingør coached by Morten Mundus Olsen in 1-4-3-3 formation had the ball for most of the match and looked to find their offensive midfielders between the lines to face the opposition defensive line with numerical advantage and create chances (see the two pictures below).

Kolding IF coach Jonas Kamper adopted a 1-3-4-3 formation which became 1-5-4-1 out of possession. His aggressive mid-block showed to be successful especially when the right centre-back Laustsen intercepted a pass and started the counterattack which himself finished to get his team in front 1-0 (see picture below).

Helsingør on the contrary wins the match of the potential players 1-2!
Rasmus Nielsen (Kolding IF), striker born in 2005.
Rasmus is a physically strong striker who knows how to use his body to protect the ball and set up his team mates with precise short passes. He can also attack the back space with good speed or combine with his team mates in small areas. He demonstrated to be very aggressive both with his runs in the penalty box and when pressing. Most importantly he was in the right place at the right time when he scored with a header from close range for his team second goal.
Rasmus is ready for first team football and can benefit from Mikkelsen and Kristensen departures to make his way into the first team.
Hjalte Laerke (Helsingør), offensive midfielder born in 2007.
Hjalte is an offensive midfielder with great vision and awareness. He often received the ball between the lines with an open body shape which made him being the main threat in his team ‘breakthrough’ phase. His ability to retain the ball under pressure is advanced and his passing accuracy both when playing through the opposition defensive line or when switching the play over longer distances is of high level. Although his best attributes are visible when he has the ball at his feet, Hjalte has also demonstrated to be able to attack the penalty box with well-timed runs without the ball.
Hjalte is a modern offensive midfielder with a complete set of skills in possession. Playing at higher level (U19 Ligaen or abroad) or in Helsingør first team will help him developing his physical structure and defensive attributes and prepare him for a future which looks promising. My guess is that he will be ready to play in Superligaen in no more than 3 years.
Emil Larsen (Helsingør), offensive midfielder born in 2008.
He possesses great finishing skills and top level mental strengths as confidence, bravery and the ability to perform under pressure. His technical level is very high in ‘output’ areas as penetrative passing, attacking 1v1, crossing and shooting / finishing. Playing as a winger on the left side in this match was only a starting point for him who loves to receive the ball between the lines or attack the back space in the central corridor.
Emil at this stage would greatly benefit by competing with the best players in Denmark at U19 level.
To FOLLOW also Kolding midfielder Rune Jensen (2005) and striker Dijanis Dudic (2006).
